§ 2-81. Other compensation and functions.

The city attorney shall be paid additional compensation, agreed upon in advance by the council and the attorney, when assigned to perform the following duties or services:
(1)

Travel expenses incurred on city business conducted outside the city.

(2)

Preparation of municipal bond issues.

(3)

Preparation of assessment projects.

(4)

Preparation and promotion of state and federal legislation.

(5)

Defending or prosecuting actions in court

(6)

Litigation or preparation of litigation.

(7)

Appearance and hearings before nonlocal administrative boards and commissions.
